She was born on 3 April 1973 in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia (Alt Penedès) and started working in the social services area in March 1995 as a social worker in basic social services for the Regional Council of Alt Penedès in eight municipalities in the region.

In 2006 she began to work as a basic social service coordinator and in November 2007 she was appointed Head of the Regional Council’s Social Welfare Service.

In 2010-2011 she worked in the Program Sub-Directorate area of the former *ICASS, collaborating in the construction of the basic social services model of Catalonia.

From 2012 to February 2021, she continued as Head of Social Welfare Service of the Regional Council of Alt Penedès. In March 2021 she was designated Director of Social Services of Vilafranca del Penedès City Council, a position which she continues to hold at present.

She collaborates as a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Integrated Primary Care, Social and Hospital Services of the IL3 Campus at Barcelona University. She is a member of the Government Advisory Council for Integrated Social and Health Care.
